Well, what can we say about Bloemendaal?

In three words that would be something like; place to be!!!
During summertime, every person between 15 and 35 knows about his little village close to Zandvoort and Amsterdam. It is the place to be seen, with a great quality beach, nice swimming water in the sea and a lot of clubs/bars restaurants and cafes. Especialy in the months June July August and September there are many special events such as Beachbop, where the best dj's from all over Europe come to let you here the best music. Before you go check the program because there are a few Sundays (most fo the parties will be given on Sunday) that are the best to go there. Local party people can inform you and of course AmsterdamConnect will give you the last updated information.

Point of consideration; how to get there?

That is the main complaining point of Bloemendaal; traffic gets stuck because the roads can not handle this much traffic, it is just only a little village.

Public transport;
The best thing to do is go from Amsterdam to Haarlem by train and take the bus from Haarlem to Bloemendaal aan Zee, bus will drop you out at the beach!!!

By car;
Not the most intelligent way of getting there, but when you do not mind the traffic jams, or the parking problems, it is ok to go there by car, leave early in Amsterdam, otherwise you will lose you entire day, and that would be a shame!!
