The ISN belongs to the Erasmus student network, a European student organisation. The aims of this organisation is to work in the interest of exchange students, work to improve the social and practical integration of exchange students, Represents the needs and expectations of exchange students on the local, national and international level, Provides relevant information and contributes to the evaluation of different exchange programmes. There is no joining fee or membership, students are simply offered the change to take part in numerous activities organised by the ISN. For instance: Trips around Holland, weekly meetings and theme party’s. The ISN also runs a mentor system whereby it offers to assign a Dutch student to assist foreign students with there problems or getting in to the Dutch Culture.
